AbGlo was created by movement mechanics specialist Marianne Madsen and engineer Holli Michaels. After 15 years of client work, Marianne realized something was missing. There had to be a better way to help clients properly activate their core than her sliding her hand under their back. But there wasn’t. So, she teamed up with Holli and made one.

AbGlo blends engineering innovation with years of hands-on rehab and sports experience. At AbGlo, our mission is simple: help people move better, feel better, and live pain-free. Everyone deserves at-home relief, including you.

Female Founded

AbGlo is woman-owned and woman-run. In 2024, AbGlo won the 10th Tiger Cage Student Business Pitch Competition at Auburn University, where Holli is an alum. This year, the company will launch its Kickstarter. To follow the journey, subscribe to our email list today.

Marianne Madsen

Movement Mechanics Specialist, CES

Marianne is a movement mechanics specialist with over 15 years of hands-on experience working with injury rehabilitation and prevention, specializing in the low back and knees. She invented AbGlo after years of helping people improve movement, reduce pain, and build the confidence to move well on their own.

Throughout her extensive client work, Marianne saw a common pattern: people were doing strength training, stretching, and posture exercises, yet persistent low back discomfort continued to limit their lives. This insight inspired her to rethink how support and feedback could improve movement quality at the foundational level.

Her approach emphasizes alignment, nervous system awareness, and efficient movement, helping people not just strengthen, but learn to move in ways that support long-term comfort and function. With AbGlo, Marianne brings her passion for effective, accessible rehab tools to a wider audience, making guided movement support available anywhere, on your own terms.
